Originally from New York, Denise Piper relocated to Charleston and quickly developed a deep appreciation for the character, history, and coastal beauty that define the Lowcountry. Her passion for the region, combined with years of experience in both real estate sales and brokerage leadership, has shaped a thoughtful and highly informed approach to serving clients throughout Charleston’s luxury and historic markets. 

Denise’s career has included leadership roles with several respected real estate firms across the peninsula, including six years as Managing Broker at Handsome Properties. Her experience spans both the sales and operational sides of the industry, giving her a well-rounded understanding of market strategy, client advocacy, and high-level business management. She also brings a background in hospitality operations, where she worked closely with executive leadership at a national firm, further strengthening her service-driven approach and attention to detail. 

Known for her professionalism, market knowledge, and calm, solutions-oriented guidance, Denise works closely with buyers and sellers to navigate each transaction with confidence and care. Her experience in Charleston’s luxury and historic sectors allows her to provide clients with valuable insight into both the lifestyle and long-term value of the Lowcountry market. 

Denise resides in the Old Village of Mount Pleasant, where she serves as a content contributor for Old Village Living magazine and is a Board Member of the Earl’s Court Assembly. She holds a South Carolina Broker’s License and is an active member of the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS®, the South Carolina Association of REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®. 

Outside of real estate, Denise enjoys an active lifestyle centered around health and wellness, along with exploring Charleston’s renowned architecture, beaches, dining, and shopping.
