Rebecca Rush
For Rebecca Rush, real estate is closely connected to the idea of home. After a career and life that took her around the world, returning to South Carolina carries particular meaning.
A South Carolina native with deep roots in the Midlands, Rebecca grew up spending summers on Lake Murray before her career led her well beyond the state. Over more than 15 years in financial services, she held senior leadership roles across the United States, Europe, and Asia, building experience in negotiation, complex decision making, and developing relationships across cultures and markets. Along the way, she also relocated her own family across cities, countries, and continents.
Those experiences shape the way Rebecca approaches real estate today as a Realtor with IndigoOak Christie’s International Real Estate. She understands firsthand that moving a family involves far more than finding the right property. There are new routines to establish, communities to understand, relationships to build, and countless decisions that ultimately determine whether somewhere new begins to feel like home.
Rebecca serves buyers and sellers throughout Irmo, Chapin, Lake Murray, Columbia, and the surrounding communities, working with clients navigating relocations, lifestyle changes, and other significant real estate decisions.
Rebecca’s approach is personal, practical, and refreshingly straightforward. She believes clients deserve clear information, thoughtful advice, and an honest perspective, even when the answer is not necessarily the easiest one. She takes the time to understand what matters, asks the right questions, and helps clients separate what is important from what is simply noise so they can make decisions with confidence.
For Rebecca, returning to South Carolina has brought her own journey full circle. Today, she combines her knowledge of the Midlands with seasoned business experience, an international perspective, and a genuine understanding of what it means to start somewhere new, or to find your way home again.

"Mike was professional, tenacious and driven. He was quickly sent to me when I requested more information from Zillow. Mike responded immediately, got to know my needs and desires and facilitated further knowledge due to my lack in the area. "Barbara was fantastic to work with, and I would recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. She went above and beyond to put my needs first and helped me accomplish selling my house quickly and strategically. She is very knowledgeable in her field, and her proven expertise helped me make decisions confidently, especially when I was faced with multiple offers. We… had a situation where a buyer backed out, and she was able to secure an even better offer quickly which was 10%+ over the asking price. Above all, she is compassionate, caring, and does her best to keep her client's best interests in mind. She was a pleasure to work with! I would definitely recommend her and her team!"

"Barbara did an outstanding job representing us as a buyers agent. We contacted Lake Life Realty via their website and received an immediate response. We spoke with Barbara and scheduled several showings all back to back on Mother's day weekend. She was more than accommodating and willing to help us find an amazing lake house to suit our needs. She is always punctual and do… es exactly what she says she will do. We certainly would recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell. We purchased from out of state and Barbara made that an easy process by stopping by the property as needed with the inspection and final walk through. We couldn't have asked for a better realtor.
